Ok so after many hours of engine assembly we finally managed to throw the new engine together at Bob's shop, with his supervision and guidance. It took us 2 days, working 9 to 5, to drop the old engine, strip all the parts and put them and some new parts back on to the new engine. Then install it back in the van. Im paraphrasing for the sake of time here, i would be more detailed and thorough but now that we are back on the road and 400 miles away from Montrose and headed toward Monument Valley (FINALLY), then The Grand Canyon, Zion NP, and Bryce Canyon NP. We have a new engine and we are a little more strapped for time now since Andrew only has a limited amount of days left. So we have to make a lot of distance in little time. But we are back on the road, we should be on it for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long time! Better blogs will be posted in the future.
