| Thanks for the Ice Cream Jessica! |
Meeting Andrew and Adam up to our campsite i began prepping our breakfast fish while adam was cooking the side dish of eggs and toast. The beer battered fish was superb and tasted delicious, i gave the extra fish to our camp neighbor who i overheard didn't catch breakfast so i brought a cooked fish over and the women was pretty stoked about it, she ate most of it before her husband even got back to try some! We set forth after packing up camp toward Devils Tower National Monument once 12 pm hit. In the town of Sundance just before Devils Tower we stopped and got ice cream at this very quiet little place courtesy of my sister Jessica who donated money for us to get ice cream, a very soothing remedy for road weariness ice cream is, thanks Jessica! Then after that we got to Devils Tower which was awesome, even the 10 or so miles leading up to it from afar was cool cause we didn't know what to expect but once you saw it in the distance you figured it out quick that that was probably it! We walked around the tower fully and got to witness climbers coming down from the top, the whole thing was just cool. It looks manmade because it had so much dimension that you would think nature to create it but thats was all part of its wonder! After the monument we set forth for Glacier National Park and we have now come about 120 miles into Montana, in the City of Billings in search of a Wal-Mart to bed down for the night, for tomorrow, its another 350 miles to Glacier and many fishing stops along the way!
WOW, you guys are seeing some AMAZING places. You all look so happy, miss you, but so glad you are having the time of your lives. Love, Lauren
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool. When Adam sent me a picture of Devil's Tower on my phone I could not even figure out what it was. You guys have seen so many amazing things already. These are the things most people only see pictures of in books. Take a moment each day to be thankful. What the heck take several moments you have the time :) Love Mom T
