After getting back home Adam took a nap, i mean we kinda came home and passed out after two hours of crawling through caves but we eventually ended up going to a Habachi grill that Kim had never been to so it was a new experience for us all. Kim got her first taste of Saki, which they squirt from a distance as you open your mouth. Now we are back at the house once and the kids are setting up their beds in the van for the night :) All the "adults" are getting ready to watch Dark Knight Rises, which will be another first for Kim (and Scott).
Tomorrow we head two hours to the House on the Rock, a favorite destination of past Wisconsin trips. But Adam hasn't seen it yet, and there's always more to see and explore! Afterwards we will come back to the house wash clothes and bodies one last time and head west, now the trip starts to get wild!
Thanks for keeping up with the blog! You guys are having a blast. Love the pictures your posting, so I can only imagine how great some of the ones your not posting are. Love you, --Lauren
ReplyDeleteJonathan forgot to mention how he fell out of his chair during dinner. That dinner was certainly a highlight of the weekend! After seeing the pictures of inside the cave, I'm SO glad I stayed up top and watched the Red Tail Hawk! There were some very tight spaces.
