Today and yesterday were relaxing days at the Bain's residence. We woke up and ate breakfast, i made my famous french toast yesterday and with the whole family around tomorrow morning we will have it again. I got fancy and tried throwing some french vanilla coffee creamer powder in the mix when me and Andrew were up at the "della" cabin...very good! So for most of the day today we slothed around the house awhile, did some repairs once the correct starter arrived in the mail today, did some scrambling around for bolts because i had to use a reciprocating saw to remove a stripped hex bolt that held the old starter in place! Whooo, that was tricky, but with Adam's help the job was a piece of cake. On the starter, there's a little copper bushing that needs to be removed and replaced that the main alignment rod sits into and the easiest was to remove that bushing is by screwing an 11mm tap into it and once that tap hits the main starter housing it slides the bearing out and removes it, then the new one is tapped in with a hammer and the new starter can be installed! 2 days later the van is assembled once again, i want to archive this information because i do not want to forget it down the line so bear with me through those diligent inquiries over vehicle repair!

We journeyed to Badger sports park where the kids, Maddie and Ryan, blew through 20 bucks in record time! Adam, Andrew and I naturally tested our skills at the ever challenging Big Game Hunter shooting game! Then we came home cleaned the van, Scott made some chicken and pasta for dinner and we are once again relaxing and enjoying our time with the Bain family! As for tomorrow we are looking at a day to travel to The House on the Rock Museum! Goodnight for now Kaukauna!
It's a good thing that I wasn't there to beat you all at Big Game Hunter ;) glad you're having fun!
